HIMB Whale Work Featured in PBS Documentary “Changing Seas”

The Marine Mammal Research Program (MMRP) at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology (HIMB) and the Alaska Whale Foundation was featured in a PBS Documentary titled “Changing Seas”.

Video Summary: How does the body size and overall health of humpback whales change across their migratory cycle? A team of researchers studying the animals, which spend part of the year feeding in Alaska and a few months fasting while in their Hawaiian breeding grounds, is making remarkable discoveries.
